This is the one place to be in Rabat. I want to thank the staff for being so kind and thoughtful. Beautiful structure, great terrace, delicious breakfast. Will be back again.

The staff is super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location is great, 5 minute walk from the sea, even closer to the Medina. At the bathroom, they provide good quality amenities by the brand "Le Sens de Marrakech".

Stuff really friendly, fantastic riad in the medina but really quit. Breakfast and dinner very good. The room was clean, comfortable and we slept really well. I would say that everything was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The riad is very cute, with a great terrace to enjoy the sun or play a game. The location is amazing, just in the heart of the medina. All people working there are very friendly and kind. They offered us every day tea and delicious cookies, just bought from the market. They make sure if you feel welcome and at home in their riad. The breakfast is awesome!! Freshly made, great italian coffee, a big variety of delicious food. It could not be any better...

The whole place is awesome. Its clean, they change towels everyday. Breakfast was good. Its very close to everything. Chaimae was very kind and helpfull. She took good care of us. Thank her for everything.

The Riad is a charming mix of modern-zen and classic Moroccan interior design, done with very good taste. Behind the door, in an alley of the busy Medina, a vision of serenity and refined elegance opens up: the first courtyard is occupied by a pool (whose bright blue contrasts with the white washed walls) and in which banana trees, palms and yuccas of the hanging garden are reflected. Behind, an annex belonging to a 14th century riad , carefully restored , displays a glorious courtyard, richly decorated with traditional elements (Moorish arches, zellige, fountain); everywhere beautifully carved windows and doors, that open into the rooms (not large, but furnished in a refreshing modern style, with a few touches of local craftsmanship) and meticulously chosen details, as the modern paintings in the common areas. Some rooms (like ours, Pasha) offer spectacular views on the hanging garden and the pool, and the whole Riad becomes particularly suggestive in the evening, when the lights are turned on. Breakfast and dinner (on request) are served in the hall facing the swimming pool, and they are both exquisite - the white cheese and black olive tapenade are delicious- The icing on the cake is the fantastic staff: from the receptionists to the cook to the waiters to the cleaning ladies, everyone is efficient and kind, meeting the needs of the guests always with a smile. We have made three trips in Morocco, done long itineraries and stopped in many Riads, but Riad Zyo is certainly not only the best in Rabat, but in the top list of those we have frequented, for the art-gallery style of its minimalist elegance, matched with the charming attitude in the reception and services, typical of the true Moroccan hospitality. The Mango room is a relaxing oasis different from any hotel or riad we've been in. Located in the heart of the medina and by the beach, it is a tram ride away from the sights of Rabat. Make sure you pick Gare de Salé as your stop if taking the train. Jan is a gracious host with priceless tips.

Second visitors, everything new, clean and freshly painted and tiled. Historic area so ensuite naturally small but well appointed and clever architecture keeps all well ventilated and cool. Friendly informative hosts made us very welcome and well-fed.

The breakfast was fantastic and the bed very comfortable.
