From the moment we arrived, Dar Palma took us by storm. Its location is unbeatable; it’s located in the heart of Chefchaouen, offering unparalleled access to the blue streets and vibrant souks. But the real magic is in the views. From the hotel itself, and even from our own room window, we enjoyed stunning panoramic views of the city cascading down the hillside, all the way to the majestic Rif Mountains in the distance. The blue hues of the buildings, contrasted with the earthy tones of the mountains, were a feast for the eyes, an ever-changing canvas of beauty. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, but it was the view that really stole the show. Waking up to this view each morning was an experience in itself – a serene and inspiring start to each day exploring the enchanting city. The view from our balcony alone was enough to make this hotel worth the price of admission. the location and view are simply exceptional. If you are looking for a truly unforgettable experience in Chefchaouen, a hotel with a prime location and stunning views is a must. dar palma certainly delivers on that promise. Great communication with ismail. Met us on time and was helpful. The house was beautiful, it felt like I lived there and was one of the locals. Had everything I needed, even a gas stove to make my own Moroccan tea in the morning, the house was in a great location, central to everything in the médina. The terrace views were fantastic, I'll come again for sure!

This hotel is a real gem. It is in an amazing location on the edge of the medina that is still accessible by a car but already on pedestrian zone. From here,it is a short walk to the creek, main shopping streets and the main square. You can also go up the mosque for a beautiful view and the path is right by the hotel. The view from the terrace for sunsets is unbelievable. The staff is kind, professional and helpful. Breakfast is very filling and with healthy choices. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The manager is super kind and really takes guest comfort seriously. We got upgraded to a higher level room due to some noisy guests. We did not even ask:). After 1 month of travelling in Morocco, this was top notch experience. Highly recommended and if it is in your budget, splurge on the 3rd floor suite that has direct access to terrace and corner views onto the medina and city. If I knew how comfortable and spectacular it is, I would have booked it right away!

The place I stayed was peaceful. No street noise or music from the outside. Hostel is very clean with authentic kitchen, fireplace, beautiful back garden and terrace with board games. Breakfast was very tasty. It is a pure gem in the middle of the medina!

Exceptionally friendly staff that speak perfect English. I was even helped to find a pharmacy late at night with a walk into the Medina with a staff member, this level of service is truly appreciated and I am thankful. We were also provided a map and directions to all the landmarks, and the best local restaurants. The staff are what make this place exceptional above the rest. The room was exactly as pictured and very authentic for the blue city. Shower worked well. Private parking is in Bab Souk square (a man will walk up as you round the cul-de-sac and direct you up the side street hidden by a barrier) tell him you are with Casa La Hiba and he will drop the price from 40dh to 30dh for overnight parking. This price as of December 2023.
