Exceptional & best onsen experience at the heritage onsen bath. All 3 public onsen are beautifully crafted in old wood and very well maintained with their original status. Having visited many onsen in Japan, their largest bath was truly something that I would never forget. It's also very nice that they have men/women/mix time schedule that balanced both tradition & modern needs.

Loved being tucked away from town on the orchard. The apples and apple juice were delicious and the owners were super helpful as we had an injury to deal with (a trip to the hospital), and they even gave the sorry sore one a lift home. Amazing hospitality. Would definitely recommend. Very comfortable and spacious with all the required appliances

Everything was amazing! Zack did a great job making us all (there were 7 of us) feel welcomed. The living space and kitchen was big enough to allow us all to hang out. Zack put a power outlet in each of the bedrooms to let us plug in all our devices. The showers were great! It really was a great place to stay.

The property is modern, contemporary and clean. With a wonderfully calm atmosphere and great views of the near by hills and river. Each room has its own onsen on the balcony. The staff are friendly and so helpful. They even called ahead for us to see if some things we wanted to do were open. We can’t wait to come back!

Craig was a great host, accommodating to his guests, with great sense of hospitality. The location was perfect in the middle of valley, pretty calm and surrounded by greenery. Breakfast was healthy and energetic. Bonus point (on top of great coffee for coffee lovers 😊), the Lodge offers activities such as rafting, canyoning, etc. through local partners with negotiated rates. This lovely Airbnb property is a gem find. It is located very near the heart of the town, you can walk from this property to all the nice cafes and eateries around this place. There’s a weekend market at the town center with crafts workshops for the kids and adults. There’s plenty to do from hikes, water activities (in summer and autumn), onsens (all year round) and skiing. It’s about 30mins drive to ski slopes. The property is fully furnished just bring your toothbrush. You can cook your meals in the lovely kitchen (my husband has kitchen envy now). And if you want to, you can let the owners (who live literally next door btw) know when booking and they can prepare the BBQ pit for you. It has washer&dryer, a lovely bathroom with bathtub. Yes it has free wifi. Great for couples or small families. It has a western bedroom with a queen size bed. There is also a tatami room that sleeps 2. This Airbnb is so nice you don’t want to leave it when you get there!
