Modern hotel/hostel less than 5 minutes walk from Kyoto Station offering everything you need for your stay.
Impeccably clean with lots of common areas to enjoy. There was a bar that served several different types of high quality Saki at a discount price. There was a large eating area and kitchen including free tea and the ability to make both instant and pour over coffee There was a cooking demonstration night and a movie night.
It's located steps from tons of restaurants, shopping and the largest travel hub in the city. You couldn't posibly be in a better location to explore Kyoto.
I stayed in a dorm and the room was large, with big pod style beds with spotlessly clean sheets. Towels, slippers and ear plugs were provided as well as a large selection of books (in Japanesse). It was very comfortable and I slept well.
The staff were helpful and professional and were quick to assist you at anytime.
My new favorite spot in Kyoto. Highly Recommended.

Amazing location, amazing hotel building and great staff. Luckily my wife speaks Japanese so we did not need bi-lingual staff, but it was great they had them there.
We have a 2 year old so needed to cook our own food a lot of the time, so having the facilities in our room was amazing for us.
Size of the room, bath and everything was literally perfect. Thank you.

The location is perfect—it is a 5-minute walk to Kyoto station. The Laundry room on the second floor allows travelers to wash their clothes very conveniently. The guest room on the first floor can provide a quiet place for poor guys like me to work during annual leave.

I was going with my wife and my son (8), we loved it. The rooms, the staff, the surroundings had everything, the super clean toilets. The breakfast, for two nights that we stayed, very good (fruit and cereals) for Westerners.

Spacious clean rooms (we were 4 adults with 2 toddlers and feel realy comfortable) with everything you need for a good stay: well equiped kitchen, washing mashine, they even gave us a potty for our children. Great location, main station and many bus stops is close by, so we have no problem to travel around Kyoto. Near the hotel there is shopping mall with plenty shop and restaurants. Last but not least, tha satff was very frienndly and helpful. We definitely recommend this place!!!

Super close to kyoto station, facility in room is extremely satisfying with microwave, washing&drying machine, two decker refrigerator and enough room for two luggages.
The hotel also provides daily cleaning and all equipment like the old days, which I expect for a good hotel this should be offered as a service but not customers wandering around to look for.
