We had no idea what we were in for here. Not even sure we’d arrived at the place we’d booked. Until we met our host, Beppe, who embraced us like long lost family and made us feel right at home in his family-run hotel and amazing restaurant. We can’t speak highly enough for his professionalism, his family, his staff, his service, and his warm welcome. The food he so passionately serves and was so far beyond our expectations I can’t describe. And he was so generous and gracious in providing for my partner’s needs as a vegetarian too. Very clean and comfortable with lots of choice for breakfast. Very centrally located to restaurants and a lovely bar from where you could watch the sun set with a drink or ice cream. High in the town but there is a well hidden lift that takes you to beach level.

The guesthouse is strategically located very close to the boarding terminal for the ferry to Sicily and the railway station, about 300-400 meters away. The cleanliness is top notch. We benefited from easy access to a common space, equipped with a refrigerator and coffee machine. The owner offers the possibility of purchasing basic products (water, snacks, beer...) at reasonable prices (coffee and tea are free). Our room was very quiet and had a beautiful view of the sea and the island of Sicily. We also benefited from a fairly spacious balcony. Giovanna helped us a lot, providing us with a lot of information about shops, restaurants or helping us with transport. Guests are also offered the possibility of transportation to and from Lungomare or Scilla at reasonable prices.
