(1) We were early but host Maria met us so that we could leave our luggage there. Subsequently check-in was smooth. (2) Apartment was cosy. Our room had everything we needed including a small writing table in the centre of the room with bright large windows. (3) Breakfast was really good. Plenty of choices for breads, different types of coffees and teas, etc. (4) Location was about halfway between train station and city centre with a supermarket just around the corner and several good restaurants a short stroll away. Will definitely return if we are ever in Parma again, thanks to our lovely host Maria!

The host was exceptionally wonderfull with us, she came and picked us up from the train station at midnight and took us to the accommodation, bought coffee and morning snacks, and did not pressure us to leave first thing in the morning since she didn't have guests the day after. We felt spoiled! The apartment is amazing, set up in an old monastery, with excelent taste in decorations! The place is a 10 minute walk to the city center or the train station.

Anna Maria was the perfect host. She gave all the relevant information beforehand, gave recommendations and was available during the stay all the time via Whatsapp. My room was ready early and I was able to check out later (depends on availability of course so ymmv). The location is 10/10, you are right in the center of everything and it's still quiet, a small alley with a pizza place (owner is there since 1978 or sth) and a fruit and vegetable store. Everything is super authentic. You can reach everything important in just a few minutes. The apartment is also authentic, there is everything you need and even a washing machine. I went in September so the ventilator fans were enough, it has no AC tho but it was no problem for me. Old building with thick stone walls, not too hot. I went solo, for a couple it's perfect, for a family with kids maybe a bit crowded but would also work. Value for money is absolutely great.
