Felt absolutely at home. Snooze is definitely the gem of my trip to Jogja. The hostel staff team was super friendly and they were willing to share their insights with you as locals. I gained many travel suggestions which helped me make the most of Jogja. Every time I came back to the hostel in the evening or left in the morning I was greeted by my friends at Snooze and we usually had a pleasant conversation afterward. They are beyond happy to learn more about their guests and help their guests out. The breakfast was organic and healthy, I was served two meals every morning as I stayed in a double room. They offered a variety of options on each day of my stay and the quality of the food was just amazing. The hostel is located in a tranquil neighborhood but it is also not far from the robust areas of the city. It is only a few minutes away on foot from the Malioboro. You could get to most of the attractions in the city within 10 minutes by motorbike (e.g., Taman Sari and the Kraton), which the staff could help you arrange. The room and the shared bathroom have also been very clean and comfortable and the hygiene has been maintained at a pretty high standard. Snooze is also a place to meet with new friends. I find a lot of traveling people I knew in other cities again at Snooze. I would highly recommend this place for a days-long stay in Jogja and I believe people will come back to the city just because of Snooze.

A place with character. Good wifi. The room has that concept of bathroom so that you can shower also under tropical rain. It might sound strange, but it is perfectly fine in the tropics. Also the location is away from noisy roads.

My stay at Ndalem Diajeng was amazing. Christine was such an accommodating, generous, and kind host. She made me breakfast at 5am when I needed to leave early for Prambanan, as well as offered me fruit from the garden at breakfast and in the evening. The free breakfast every morning is delicious, and always different local dishes. I was able to rent a scooter from the property for a very affordable price, which added so much convenience to my stay there. There was unlimited water available from the water cooler, as well as tea and coffee to make whenever you wanted. The showers had hot water. The rooms had good AC. The wifi was really good. I really enjoyed my stay here, and cannot recommend this place enough. It’s also located about 5mins walk from a great night market that happens every night, and about 20mins walk from Malioboro Street. Terima kasih banyak, Christine!

The hotel's location makes it easy to get to the city's attractions on foot. Everyone at the hotel is very attentive, helpful and willing to help resolve any concerns. In fact, they welcomed us while waiting for our trip, even after we checked out. The facilities are beautiful, quiet and set to calming music. The room was very comfortable and clean. And the food was delicious. It was a wonderful experience! Definitely recommended!
