Cozy, clean and lovely little renovated apartment for 2 people. Michael is a nice guy, he shared all the instructions on how to reach the apartment via WhatsApp. He also recommended some places, we tried his restaurant recommendation and it was excellent.
Just one tip for future travelers, if you have luggage it is better to come by taxi or bus because the distance from the metro station to the apartment was CHALLENGING. At one point, I really wanted to leave my luggage :)
We had a great time in this apartment! There are some complimentary things in the fridge which we really appreciated.
The water pressure of the shower was perfect and AC is working quite good. If I travel again to Athens, I will stay at Michael place but this time I will come with backpacks. :)

Room is just as in the photos. Looks new or recently renovated. 2 balconies. One of which is quite large. The room is very quiet. Interesting area; don't let yourself be deceived by the shabby outside (graffiti). Safe parking within a short distance. Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for price. Air conditioning and elevator - our room was on the 5th floor with view onto neighbouring houses. Kettle and coffee are provided, also shampoos, conditioner, toothbrushes ...

WOW!!! If you want to get to know Athens and the Athenians, not tourist "postcards", this hotel is for you. It is very close to two hills with a beautiful view. We always walked to the center so as not to miss any of the unexpected attractions. The Exarcheia district itself is wonderful and unique (you will appreciate it especially if you like the atmosphere of Camden Town in London, the charming streets of Porto or the artistic district of Copenhagen). It is safe and the locals are very nice. There are as many bookstores as cafes, restaurants and artistic graffiti on the walls (on one of them there is an inscription: Do not take photos, Exarcheia is not a museum). The hotel staff are masterful at being nice and helpful. All the positive comments we read before our arrival were confirmed. The room has everything you need, always clean, bathroom, fridge, air conditioning, and at the reception you can always get water, coffee, Coke and a friendly smile.
