A nice cozy apartment on the southern side of the city. It's a 45 minute walk from the train station, maybe a 20 minute walk from the historic city center, but that's not too bad since you walk down the riverbank to get to this apartment.

Everything was perfect... Very well equipped, very comfortable and great balcony. Shower, WiFi, kitchen equipment and comfortable beds were all great. Host was responsive to our questions and we were able to stay a couple of hours extra... Which really helped. We were able to walk into the old town each day. There was a supermarket nearby and the area around the apartment seemed clean, quiet and safe. All in all a perfect stay.

Excellent, cool hotel in central location near tram and metro. Modern interiors with good options for self-catering or bar food. Good breakfast selection. Excellent rooms and showers and with plenty of charging points. Busy but quiet. A different experience.

The location is great. It’s clean and feels safe. You can park your car in the garage for 10€ per day and you can easily walk to the nearest subway, it takes 10 minutes. There is also a bakery and a supermarket (Auchan) en route to the subway. The entrance of the hotel is very modern, with a reception desk, couches and a small bar area. The staff were lovely. They spoke English very well and they immediately gave us a new kettle, as the one in our room was faulty. The room itself was a studio, with a small kitchenette containing a fridge, microwave, hob and cutlery. There’s a kettle with tea bags and coffee. You would just need to bring your own milk, if desired. We had a large double bed and a pull out sofa for the kids. The bed is comfortable, and so are the pillows. The bathroom has a built in radio, which we personally loved. There were fresh towels for all of us and everything felt clean. The air conditioning switches off at night, but even though it was 38oC in Lyon that day, the room had a cool temperature from being air conditioned during the day.

My overall experience at Ruck Hotel was great. The staff was very kind and they went above and beyond to fulfill any requests I had. The pick up at the airport was really appreciated and it made my travel very smooth. The food offered in the restaurant was excellent and so was the service there. The hotel itself was about 20 minutes drive from the Old Lyon and about same from the airport. It was perfectly close to my business place.
