The hotel is situated on a gorgeous island just a short boat ride from Xiamen. We were given a fantastic room that far exceeded our expectations and really made our stay on Guyangyu special. The reception staff took care to meet us from the boat and communicated via WeChat very well, they even recommended an excellent restaurant. We will return.

The building was beautiful, the bed comfortable and the staff were amazing! The lovely guy on reception gave me a great dinner recommendation, then went above and beyond to post some items to my next stop that I’d left behind! So helpful, generous and kind.
Hotel is in close proximity to the tourist spots, and I highly recommend staying in the beautiful spot of you have a long layover in Xiamen!

-Buffet style breakfast was ample, large choice of hot and cold food and drinks.
