The staff is exceptionally friendly and ready recommend places and things to see. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood close to some parks and tennis courts. The room is very clean and quiet. The bed is comfortable and warm. The breakfast is AMAZING. The selection of local delicatessen is wide and the coffee is great also. They also offer to make your fresh scrambled or fried eggs and a coffee to your liking. The marmelade and honey selection is great and very delicious.

Surrounded by a private garden, the 4-star hotel Haus Arenberg is just a 15-minute walk from Salzburg’s Old Town. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, free WiFi, and free parking.

We had premium room. Very good one, top quality. The room is really the one you can see on the pictures. Clean, very nice colours, cosy, real wood cover everywhere. The bathroom is big with a large size shower (not a cabin!). The breakfast is also top quality. Even smoked salmon and trout is available (and immediately filled in). Many bio foods, including real carrot, apple, orange juice (and cooled in a bottle cooler). The bus stop is just in front of the hotel. Easy access to the city. Big parking area in front and behind the hotel building (very comfortable). Very friendly staff! So, all-in-all whenever we shall come to Salzburg we come to this hotel. No question.

We stayed for 2 nights during the Salzburg festival, at the tail end of our 2 week holiday in Slovenia. After host Ulrike’s warm welcome on arrival, nothing could go wrong! She is the gold standard of hospitality! Stylish, hip small hotel, spotlessly clean room with a view, great location in a cozy alleyway in the heart of the old town. Breakfast was superb, especially outside on the terrace.
