We had a pleasant stay in this Hotel. They spoke English well. Good price/value. Perfect location 10 minutes walk from the centre, nice rooms and an ideal breakfast. Luckily our room didn't have transparent bathroom walls as pictured. Toiletries, towels, hairdryer are provided. Breakfast is more than perfect with lots of quality options for every taste: cold cuts, cheese and for vegetarians as well, we couldn't try everything during our 3-day stay.

Situated only 150 metres from a main transportation hub, Goldener Adler enjoys a central location in the heart of Linz/Urfahr. Free WiFi and a breakfast buffet.

Very warm welcome from the professional and efficient team on Reception. Spacious room which was very clean and comfortable. I will return to this lovely hotel.

A bit longer on foot than I expected but first time in the city, 10 minutes on foot to major tram and bus lines. Clean, wooden ceilings, you feel like in a chalet in the woods. Easy access using a code, good for a night or two if you need a place to crash.

I stayed here with my dog and had a really great experience! The apartment is clean, cozy, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The area is peaceful and relaxing, and it was perfect for a short stop on my trip. I truly appreciated that pets are welcome – my dog and I felt at home. The host was very friendly and communication was excellent. I would gladly stay here again!

A beautiful and charming studio located in a quiet and peaceful part of the city. The hosts were exceptionally kind and provided us with comprehensive information about practically everything we needed. We are leaving the accommodation with a heavy heart, as we truly enjoyed our stay in Linz. We are already planning to return, at least for a weekend.

Our host was really kind, shared all information in advance and was immediately available when we had questions. The flat was simple but clean and fairly enough for 5 of us.

After reading several comments of previous quests about problems with accessing their rooms, I was a little bit worried. However. I read the carefully instructions in the received e-mail and had no serious problems with finding and accessing the hotel (for more see comment in section Negative). The hotel is near the center (ca 5 mins by walking to Hauptplatz), next to the Ars Electronica Centre and Urfahrer Josefskirche. The room was amazing - clean, spacious, with a fan, fridge, and stove. I appreciate an extension cable. Some previous comments mentioned guests´ dissatisfaction with the Josefkirche bells (yes, it beats every 15 minutes, but I liked it). My room´s windows were to Schullstrasse with many trees, so it was like windows to a courtyard. There are only self-check-in and self-check-out. I had no problem with it. When I contacted the hotel service via Booking.com chat, I very quickly received a response.
