It takes 10 minutes to drive to Kanchanaburi city centre. Bangkok is 3 hours’ drive away. the room was very spacious and comfortable overlooking the gardens and pools. The restaurant is right by the river edge and it is very relaxing even just to sit there especially at sunset.

The property features a 24-hour front desk, tour desk and Thai massage service. Laundry service is available. The host couple are amazing, so friendly, helpful and genuinely nice people. They give great advice on where to go and give you a lift each time you need to go to the bus or train station. Rooms are basic but a good size and a fridge with water you get each day. The location is perfect with a lovely garden and you're right next to a local market if you fancy a Thai breakfast. Easy bike ride into town to the night markets and main strip, imo if you come to kanchanaburi this is the area you want to stay in. You can hire bikes to get into town only 40 baht and can hire a motorbike if you want to travel further away.

Offering free Wi-Fi, it features private villas with a 32-inch flat-screen TV and private sun deck with day beds. We wish we could've stayed longer. It started with a warm welcome - we were given cold towels and tea for refreshment. The staff were kind and helpful (my partner forgot his bag when we were already on the boat, luckily one of the staff handed the bag to us on the other side of the pier). The rooms exceeded my expectation, the bed was comfortable. The toilet and bathroom were clean. They had complete necessities. Plenty of choices for their breakfast. The food was great too, we paid separate for our dinner - they have western/european choices in their menu such as fish and chips, burger etc. It was indeed quiet and peaceful - great time to be away from the city. The view, the whole idea of the Float House is very aesthetic. They offer many other activities too, but sadly we were not able to do any.

A cup of freshly brewed coffee can also be enjoyed at the on-site café. Very nice hotel. It's near the famouse bridge. Next to the hotel there are 7 eleven and amason to have some coffee and snacks. The place is very quiet and comfortable. The room has a bath and a good pool.

Rooms offer an iPod dock and a flat-screen TV. Everything was wonderful! We had a problem with air conditioner when we arrived but they moved us to a different room!

The location on the hillside overlooking the beautiful lake is stunning, the boat ride in the late afternoon towards the sundown was also a highlight. Reception and employees all very friendly.
