The studios have also a sofa bed and the Lofts have a mezzanine with 4 single beds. The bathrooms were all renovated in 2017 and each features free toiletries, a hairdryer and a shower. Some have a balcony. The hotel owner was very kind and supportive for my family. He preliminarily prepared the map (describing recommended places) for our sightseeing. Besides, the location is fantastic, close to downtown and train station. My Kids loved the hotel.

Casa dos Lóios by Shiadu offers classy accommodation, with modern touches, in the heart of Porto. The property is a 5-minute walk from the Porto city centre and a 3-minute drive away from the iconic D. Luís I Bridge. This was quite possibly the nicest place we’ve stayed. The bed. The room. The location. I wouldn’t have changed anything. The breakfast served each morning was better than anywhere else we’ve traveled.

The building and all of its areas were fully refurbished in 2018. Each room features stylish décor with wooden parquet floors, white painted walls and large French-style doors which open out to views of the city. There is a seating area with a flat-screen cable TV and a private bathroom decorated with mosaic tiles and free toiletries. Our Cale Guest House stay was amazing. The staff were incredible. We mainly dealt with Vânia who went above and beyond at every opportunity to make our stay and our trip to Porto a very special one. The food served for breakfast was of exceptional quality. We were also staying with our 10 month old baby and the thought and consideration for him was outstanding.
