The studios have also a sofa bed and the Lofts have a mezzanine with 4 single beds. The bathrooms were all renovated in 2017 and each features free toiletries, a hairdryer and a shower. Some have a balcony. Great apartment! Clean and spacious. Cute tiny balcony overlooking the street. Excellent location, grocery store very close. Had a great terrace on the roof that we used too! Housekeeping service was a nice bonus!

The modern Casas do Teatro has apartments and studios primely located near Porto’s city centre. The units are within a 5-minute walk from the São Bento Train Station, famous for its historically themed tiled panels. the property was very central and close to lots of restaurants and an easy walk to town. It was clean and very well equipped with a much needed washing machine. Cheese, crackers and a glass of port was a lovely arrival present. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful (wish I could remember your name but it started with H.). It had a lovely courtyard and also a table and chairs at the front door which at night was the perfect spot for a glass of wine/port in the sun.

The chic, contemporary apartments at Serviced Apartments Boavista Palace lead onto balconies. In the living room, guests can enjoy some cable TV on the plasma TV. The apartment was spacious, quiet, bright, with a good air circulation and a large balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful, and booked a taxi for us to the airport. The apartment is located 1.5 km from downtown, which is convenient for a trip in the non-touristic parts of Porto. The area was very suitable for such a trip: calm, lovely, clean, with lots of shops, restaurants, and 2 malls.

The PortoBay Hotel Teatro is a 4-star hotel in Porto belonging to the PortoBay Group. After being

fully refurbished in the first half of 2021, it is now reopening its doors with a fresher, brighter and fullyrejuvenated image. Quite good hotel in a good location. Walking distance everywhere. Friendly staff and good breakfasts. Nice service. Regular room service and there were no issues. Half Board concept is also good to have. It was very cosy despite a small room. This hotel is very cosy and value for money.

Set in a castle among landscaped gardens, Castelo Santa Catarina offers accommodation in central Porto and a breakfast featuring traditional Portuguese dishes. Marques Metro Station is 100 metres away. This an absolutely exceptional property. Styled as an old castel in 100%. Which comes with a certain limitations, e.g. no elevator in the main building, which didn't really bother us at all. A decent breakfast in a stunning dining room, very kind and helpful staff, location 5 min walking from the metro station, lovely local restaurants close by. City center is in the walkable distance, downhill. This also means this is uphill going back but all those hills are hard to escape from in Porto. Nice bar open in the evenings and the private garden help to escape from the touristic crowd.
