Atlantida Mar is a contemporary hotel featuring designer guestrooms with panoramic views. It is located on Terceira Island, with direct access to the Atlantic Ocean Promenade, and offers an outdoor swimming pool. Def highlight was the staff: one of the best! From the reception to cleaning personal, they all made sure that we have a great experience. First day, lady at the reception printed out an itinerary for the festival and brought it to our room, which we even have asked for! Once I mentioned that it was my boyfriends birthday week, reception and cleaning personal prepared the best surprise. On the last day, we needed a taxi at 5am and asked for reception to help us arrange it: then when they realized we are leaving really early they tried to arrange a breakfast for us. Once my boyfriend said its not needed, gentleman at the reception asked if he should arrange a lunch box. These people love their job and make sure that guests have a great experience, I really hope hotel management values them and treats them as they deserve because they are the 5th star to this hotel 🥰

Tastefully decorated by an interior designer, the rooms feature a blend of modern and traditional influences in its décor. The hotel’s rooms and suites are all air conditioned and feature a private bathroom, with a hairdryer. Each accommodation includes a flat-screen cable TV, a safety deposit box, telephone and free WiFi. The hotel is very nice. The pool from the room was heated and a very nice experience. The breakfast was very good, with a big buffet, better than other places on the island. Also the restaurant, has very good food, but a bit pricey.

Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Featuring a privileged view of the mountains and the sea, the resort offers direct access to the beach, a beach bar, a swimming pool and a restaurant. Location- right on a cliff overlooking a beautiful black sand beach. Perfect! Rooms, spacious with a private hot tub that was quite relaxing. Breakfast- just the right amount of local products with the included option of made to order eggs and other quality items. Very well prepared!

Each room features a unique style combining rustic elements with a modern design. Apart from exposed stone walls and wood ceilings, rooms also come with hypoallergenic pillows and duvets. Free Wi-Fi access is included. We stayed in one the villas. It was extremely private and there was so much attention to detail. The gardens are lovely. The outdoor shower was my favorite.

My Story Hotel Vila Nova’s guest rooms are decorated in blue and grey tones. They include extra long beds and a private bathroom with bathtub and shower. Suites also feature a minibar. Room was big, clean and convenient, was cleaned every day. We found there such things as bathrobe and slippers that can be found not in every hotel.

The whole decoration of the Azorean Urban Lodge is ruled by modernity, colours and comfort. Each bedroom is dedicated to a different character and features a private bathroom, either inside the bedroom or in the hall. Location is easy to find and check in instruction very clear to follow. Room was clean, stuff us very friendly and helpful!

Pico do Refúgio - Casas de Campo combines a natural setting with history, art, and sea views. It offers traditional-style houses with a contemporary design and an outdoor swimming pool in São Miguel countryside, Azores. Wow, what a special place Pico do Refugio is. First of all, the property is absolutely gorgeous. Anna welcomed our family and was full of recommendations and explained the history behind the Refugio. The location was excellent, out of the busy Ponta Delgada, but still close enough to easily explore all around Sao Miguel. The loft we stayed in was spacious, airy, and comfortable. Each morning, the breakfasts delivered was amazing and filling. Even though the houses were all full, it was very quiet and peaceful. The common area had great coffee and treats and interesting art and products from local artists. We didn't want to leave.
