We had a lovely stay at Mangawhai Lodge. It's located at the top of a hill and has outstanding views. Jeanette our host was absolutely lovely and made it feel like we were staying with family. Breakfast was fantastic and freshly cooked each day with the choice of continental with yummy fresh fruit salad as an added bonus or a eggs, bacon and such. The lodge is not right in town center, but it's a short 15 walk to get to the cafes and restaurants. It's also within 10 to 1 hour drive to many awesome experiences and places. So you can see beautiful beaches and go surfing near by, do walking routes and explore cliffs, forrest and waterfalls or even a little city life in Whangarei.

Allegra House tiene vista al mar, WiFi gratis, estacionamiento privado de cortesía, y está establecido en Paihia, a 14 minutos a pie de Te Ti Bay Beach. Heinz & Brita were the most gracious hosts. The room had everything we needed for our stay, very comfortable, and the view from the balcony was stunning! The Allegra House was a close walk to everything Paihia, and they have a cute little shortcut path down the hill. The breakfast & homemade bread was delicious ~ so much to choose from to start your day. We would definitely come back to Paihia & stay at the Allegra House again.

El Mangonui Waterfront Apartments ofrece vistas a las aguas brillantes del puerto de Mangonui y es el alojamiento más céntrico y práctico de la histórica y hermosa localidad de Mangonui. We stayed two nights in these perfectly located Apartments. The host was super nice, as he was very friendly to chat with as well as he helped us out extending one more night by juggeling bookings around just to make it work. Tank you again! Besides the awesome location right on the waterfront the apartments have everything you need to feel comfy and also to prepare your dinner in the good working kitchen.

Very clean and tidy, great spot if you want to just get away from city life. Stones throw from beach. Other family were around the corner in walking distance beach front property was great for the kids and safe. I went walking with my brother into Russell, the hill back took the wind out of us but was great got our steps up! The owners were easy to deal with very nice people.
