Jeanette our host was absolutely lovely and made it feel like we were staying with family. Breakfast was fantastic and freshly cooked each day with the choice of continental with yummy fresh fruit salad as an added bonus or a eggs, bacon and such. The lodge is not right in town center, but it's a short 15 walk to get to the cafes and restaurants. It's also within 10 to 1 hour drive to many awesome experiences and places. So you can see beautiful beaches and go surfing near by, do walking routes and explore cliffs, forrest and waterfalls or even a little city life in Whangarei.

Overlooking the sparkling waters of Mangonui Harbour, Mangonui Waterfront Apartments is the most centrally and conveniently located accommodation in the historic and beautiful village of Mangonui.
