The modern units have either lake, mountain or pool views and all include a spa bath and a well-equipped kitchenette. Modern amenities include air conditioning and TV reception. it was very clean and spacious the pol and the spa were a dream.

The location was 10 minute drive from the centre of Taupo, breakfast was excellent. Angie and Garth were incredibly friendly giving us help with places to eat and all around the local area. Despite the cold weather in New Zealand for summer we had a fire in the lodge to keep us warm.

The motel features stunning lake views from all apartments. Some rooms have a private balcony and a spa bath. A flat-screen TV, refrigerator, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities are also provided. Everything in this property was clean & we had room service every morning for the last 4 days we have stayed here. The receptionist man is very helpful too we are on our last day here & he has made our stay here an awesome one he helped us from the start up until our last day which was meant to be today but we enjoyed it so we added one more night because of their services and how helpful and clean they are, we also got the first room to the right so the view looking at the beach in the morning when the sunrise is up until it sets was one of my highlights and it's just close to all the shops and walking distance too. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay visiting Taupo, definitely wont be my last time here i'll be back for sure with the rest of my family one day.

It features a tour desk that can book local activities, including trout fishing, skydiving and mountain biking. Free parking is available on site. Beautifully situated on Lake Taupo, definitely with paying for a room with full Lake views. We had a Spa room with a Jacuzzi.

It features a hot tub and a barbecue area with outdoor seating. Free parking is available on site. Breakfast was good but they cleared the buffet away to early.

DeBretts Spa offers a wide variety of accommodation options including studio and family motels to spa chalets and luxury lodges. We really like that you can come and go to the pools all day, and that they are such a short walk from the rooms. We also like the chairs in the shade around the pools.

VERY comfortable hotel in a truly perfect location. Beautiful view overlooking the lake. Close to town for selection of restaurants and shops. Outstanding breakfast. (Try the French toast!!). Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, well-appointed - amazing water pressure. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
