It is situated right next to the stunning Basilica of Sant’Andrea, one of Mantua’s most important sights. As expected, my last stay at Scaravelli was phenomenal - the staff was extremely professional, they went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. And they succeeded 100%! So much so, that I decided to take a family vacation and booked Scaravelli for that - cannot wait to be back in Mantova!

The host Marina is a wealth of information about Mantova and was a very responsive and kind host! The property is a very centrally located lovely old palazzo owned by her family and Marina now lets out 2 rooms, with access to a kitchen. Very private as she lives on the other side of the building. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and our room was huge, decorated with antiques. The adjacent room is decorated in a more modern fashion with a more recently renovated bathroom, which would have been more suited to our personal tastes but was booked. Excellent breakfast offered at a cafe 50 mt. from the property, as well as a discount for nearby indoor parking. Mantova is a beautiful city and Marina's pride in her birthplace is apparent.
