A seating area and flat-screen TV feature in all apartments at Thoristun Apartments. Each apartment has a bathroom with shower. Some have a private terrace. Easy check in, good location, big apartment, fully equipped (finally had an oven to cook pizza xoxo) and free parking around. The view of the river and the walk in the sunset was amazing for the last day in iceland. We enjoyed the place and it left a good taste for future. We will comeback.

A bistro, café, bar and tour desk are found on site. WiFi is free. The building is beautiful both inside and out, with a unique charm thanks to its history as an old school. The atmosphere has a very cool, distinctive vibe. Our room was on the smaller side, but it was comfortable and cozy. The shared bathrooms were decent and served their purpose. We also opted for breakfast, which featured a wide variety of options—and everything we tried was delicious.

12 km from Geysir in Kjarnholt, Mengi Countryside provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and hot tub. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was so wonderful! The host was so sweet, welcoming and helpful. We got to watch the northern lights from the hot tub which was so magical. Breakfast was a standard Icelandic breakfast and was delicious. The chocolate bread was my favorite. It was also probably the cutest guesthouse I've every stayed in with eclectic decor.
