Located in the very centre of Hvar, about 50 metres from the main square, Guesthouse Kampanel is a traditional Dalmatian stone house, fully refurbished in 2014. It offers brightly furnished studios and rooms, with free WiFi access available. The location was great, just a few mins walk from everything. The host welcomed us, helped us with the luggage and told us all about the best spots in Hvar. The place was clean and beautiful.

Unforgettable experience! We soaked in a biblical downpour and manager of the hotel helped us to dry a baby stroller and whole the dressing! As well, recommended a great restaurant and called to place to order a place for us. At any of our request we had an assistance with very warm emotions so that we’ve felt as at home and, at the end of the stay we had a great present! You are excited in the morning to wake up to enjoy sunrise over Hvar. Eating outside with such a wonderful view. There is no better place in Hvar. Hvala!

Located just 30 metres from the beach in Hvar, Hotel Moeesy, Blue & Green Oasis provides free Wi-Fi and satellite TV in its air-conditioned rooms. Surrounded by a pine forest, it is a 10-minute walk from the old city centre and the port. I don't know if I'll be able to do justice to how much we loved Hotel Moeesy. Both the property and team members were exceptional. We have never had such a restful experience at a hotel. From the porter meeting us at the ferry, to the front desk staff who helped us with our travel planning far before we got there, to the people at breakfast, everyone is so kind, friendly, and helpful. Our room was beautiful and we are so glad that we got the water view balcony - having coffee out on the terrace was peaceful every morning. The three pools were nice to come back to after a day of walking and have a good view of the ocean. Everything on the property is maintained perfectly, there was always someone around discreetly tidying and it is a very short and pretty walk into town on the ocean-front promenade. The breakfast was the best. If you can't tell, we could not have been happier with our stay - I was upset the morning we had to leave. If we could go back and do it again we would have cut out other days from our trip and booked here for longer. Thank you Hotel Moeesy!

Restaurant Lucullus serves a rich breakfast and dinners including the specialities of Hvar Island like goat with potatoes cooked in a brick oven or cheese with capers and olive oil. Everything. We had the best stay of our entire trip here. Natalia is so hospitable, the rooms are huge with a very nice terrace and the breakfast is so good!

Guests can also visit the trendy lobby bar with a small front terrace facing the harbour. The Val Marina Restaurant serves premium cuts of meat, and fresh and local fish that is carefully paired with a great variety of national and international wines. The views from the hotel are unsurpassable. We had a great view from our room already, and the view is even better from the lounge. The breakfast was amazing, and the hotel is well run and lives up to its expectations. They even collected our luggage from the ferry landing spot.

We spent 5 nights at Palace Elisabeth and we will be talking about it for the rest of our lives! Hope we can make it back someday.
