Boasting a prime location within the castle walls, this century-old restored mansion features a tranquil courtyard and charming accommodation with views over the castle. Both Wi-Fi and parking are free. Our stay was wonderful! The lady at the front desk was exceptionally kind and helpful. We booked a budget room for one night, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was spotless, the mattress was comfortable, and the entire place was peaceful and quiet. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the lake and close to the old town. Parking was also a breeze. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a variety of traditional options. The only suggestion I'd make is to include a few more savory items. Overall, a great experience!

Facilities include a spa centre with double whirlpool bath, professional massage chairs, power plate, sauna and hammam. There is also a communal pool and an outdoor hot tub. Hotel Archontico Metsovou is situated very close to central square, restaurants, shops and museums (by the way both - Averoff Art Gallery and Metsovo Folk Art Museum are worth a visit). The views are breathtaking. The hotel is very clean. Interior design is stylish, in the traditions of the region, all the needs of the guests are carefully considered - even jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast was rich and tasty, especially the home-made pies.

A lounge area fitted with well-chosen furnishings, parquet floors and a fireplace is available on site. Well situated, a stone's throw fron the tomb of Ali Pasha, this is a charming boutique hotel. It's very quiet, and yet also closr to the action of the town outside the citadel. The room we had was big and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast home-made, varied and delicious. We just stayed one night on our way through, but Ioannina merits more time, and this is the place we'll come to for our next.stay!

Good cooking equipment, washing machine, iron and comfy beds. Good location close to beaches, the town, a bakery and wine shops around the corner and mini market only a few minutes walk. The kindly took in some parcels sent in advance. We had an Easter meal with the family - a special day which we will always remember.

It was super comfortable, warm and really clean with a lovely fireplace. The best part was our wonderful host, Olga that went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She had a ton of information on what activities to do in the area was really friendly and inviting. And the breakfast she makes every morning set us up perfectly for a long day of exploring Zagoroxoria.
