Recently restored boutique hotel from 1929, located on the beachfront in Bakio. Exquisite architecture with attention to detail and welcoming atmosphere. Our hotel has two pleasant terraces, one with sea views and the other sheltered by our ancient trees, where guests can rest and relax peacefully. Clean and cozy, with very friendly staff at the front desk and in the kitchen. Would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and recharging vacation.

Each room comes with a balcony, a king-size bed, TV and private bathroom. Absolutely stunning view over estuary. The breakfast, taken on the balcony overlooking the estuary, was well beyond expectations with individual trays of fruits, meats and pastries served to each table. Our room was at the back of the property, hence no view of the estuary, and only a limited view of the rear garden. However, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room very clean.

Pensión Kursaal is newly refurbished and features rooms with modern furniture and parquet floors. They come with flat-screen satellite TV, private bathroom with hairdryer and a work desk. Great location, room was small but nice with a good practical closet with lots of hanging space and shelves.

Do not miss a walking tour of the grounds, with the ponds, chapel, and memorial sites for members of the winemaking owner family. Great food as well as wine. Breathtaking views of the whole valley.

Rooms at the Spirit Hotel Gran Bilbao feature colourful modern décor and wooden furniture. Each room has air conditioning and a large bathroom with a hairdryer. Superb room and shower, a stunning breakfast, super helpful staff who went above and beyond to get us good coffee and help clean baby bottles etc. The little play area for kids at breakfast was fantastic.

The air-conditioned rooms at the The Artist Grand Hotel of Art feature carpeted floors and a private bathroom with bathtubs, bathrobe and slippers. Each room has free WiFi, USB connection and a 40" flat-screen TV with international satellite channels, HDMI. There is nothing that could be rated less than perfect. Excellent staff, perfect location, and fantastic hotel and facility.

The Hotel Miró's rooms are decorated in a minimalist style. All are equipped with a smart TV. The bathrooms have Molton Brown toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, and free mineral water is provided. The front desk staff were very helpful. Excellent location, short walk to Guttenheim Museum and many excellent restaurants. Would recommend and stay again.

All rooms include free water from the minibar. They each have a separate shower and bath. Rooms have luxury individual design, some including artwork from Jorge Oteiza. Room service is available, offering local dishes. Truly one of the greatest places I have ever stayed. The staff is polite and helpful and whole hotel smells incredible the decor is impeccable and the whole place feels like it's out of a fairytale.
