The owners and the hostess bring this place to life. I travel extensively and it’s very seldom you get such personalized service. We loved our stay because we were given such personalized treatment. If I ever return to Brasilto, I’ll return to Quinta Esencia.

The rustic-style rooms at Capitán Suizo Beach Front Boutique Hotel are air conditioned and have a seating area, safety deposit box and balconies. They are decorated with wooden furniture and light-coloured beddings. Excellent place to relax on the beautiful Tamarindo beach. The hotel offers excellent service and beautiful facilities, surrounded by gardens and nature. Within the hotel, you will see a variety of birds, monkeys, iguanas, and cats. Seeing monkeys was a special experience. Being on the beachfront, there's easy access to great surfing. In this paradise, you can enjoy nature at its peak. From the moment we arrived as a group, we felt at home. Breakfast is tasty, with wonderful cheese, delicious coffee, and various egg options. We also enjoyed the restaurant for several evenings and the food. The bar service has delicious cocktails and tasty pina colada. Our special thanks to the reception staff, Irwin, and Moises from the concierge service. This hotel is the best value in Tamarindo, so we would like to stay here again.

It features 2 outdoor swimming poosl and a hot tub, and the beach is only 500 metres away. Beautiful Excellent location Great communication with staff Close to everything but you feel far from civilization (personally like that)

This boutique hotel offers bright rooms and bungalows, decorated in a contemporary style. All accommodation includes free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a safe and a minibar. The stylish modern bathrooms include free toiletries. Excellent, cannot recommend it enough. Stayed for two weeks as a female solo traveler and felt safe. Stayed in a bungalow which was very clean. This boutique hotel had cozy communal spaces. Breakfast in my opinion is the best value for money in town. It is close enough to everything by foot, but far enough from the bars etc to be quiet, which was perfect for me. Thank you so much to Richard and Juan Carlos for making my stay great!

Dennis (the owner, operator, cook, maintenance guy, and room cleaner) is one of the few people in my life I met I consider a remarkable human being. His staff (wife and mother-in-law) are as remarkable as he is.

Complaints about service not deserved, we got excellent service the entire stay.

The breakfast at the restaurant is delicious and beautifully presented, the rooms are very large. The grounds are beautiful with lots of plants, birds, and a couple iguanas. This hotel is located a short walking distance to playa Brastilio which is not the nicest beach in the area but a 10 min walk will take you to playa Conchal which is a beautiful beach.
