Great location close to funicular ride to Monte Bre, ferry to Gandria, Paradiso and other places by the Lugano Lake, the beautiful Parco Ciani and Lugano Centro with a lot of excellent restaurants, shopping and cafe's. You can easily walk. If you prefer to take the bus its for free (Ticino Pass from the hotel) and taxi is not expensive in my opinion.

All air-conditioned rooms are renovated. Coffee and tea facilities are offered for free. Great localization in the center of the city, close to train station, lake across the street. The room was small, but clean and had all the advertised features, especially air conditioning and lake view. Breakfast had modest selection, but was good and should be good enough for most people.

Built in 1914 and located 850 meters above sea level, Kurhaus Cademario- Adults Only has massage, relaxation and steam rooms. It features indoor and outdoor heated pools, water features, a park and 2 conference rooms. Everything. Breakfast could have a bit more healthy options but still great. All employees are very friendly and helpful. There is a lovely Portuguese girl working there she was super helpful and super sweet

Located 800 metres from the Lugano Exhibition Centre and 1 km from the lake, Hotel City Lugano is a modern, non-smoking building with stylish and air-conditioned rooms. Free WiFi is available in all areas, and underground parking is available for small/medium cars on site for an extra charge. Very modern hotel, own parking, 10-12 min. walk from lake front and mid Lugano. Very good breakfast too, internet good.
