There is also a bar and a terrace with lake views. The room was a decent size, clean, with enough storage, a safe, a professional Nespresso coffee machine and the bed and pillows were confortable. A balcony with a ashtray and a beautiful view. The hotel has a pool and a lake access, perfect for summer and the view from the pool was amazing. I’m not a fan of buffet breakfasts but, between the Gorgonzola, the dispensers of farmers honey, the fresh orange juice machine, the fresh bread and pastries, all sorts of teas, eggs, cereals, nuts, etc and the different types of coffee you can order, this one is devine! The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. It offers a park with a pool, free WiFi and a limited number of free parking spaces. Very clean,civilised people and staff.Great location,next to the bus and train station

The family-run Continental Parkhotel is located 200 metres south of the main railway station of Lugano, where the funicular leaves regularly for the city centre.

Plunge into the wonderful swimming pool amidst a large park after a day of doing sightseeing or business in Lugano. Beautiful hotel with a beautiful garden and an old history. Very good location with the fenicular so close by to downtown. The room was excellent with a beautiful lake view. The staff was execptionally friendly. Very good breakfast.

It features indoor and outdoor heated pools, water features, a park and 2 conference rooms. The croissants (breakfast), the view from their restaurant, and the pool. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet.

Located 800 metres from the Lugano Exhibition Centre and 1 km from the lake, Hotel City Lugano is a modern, non-smoking building with stylish and air-conditioned rooms. Free WiFi is available in all areas, and underground parking is available for small/medium cars on site for an extra charge. The receptionist was very informative and friendly. The lady was very hospitable during breakfast.
