Hotel Spalentor is located opposite the Botanic Gardens, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Basel and the University, and offers free bicycles, free WiFi, a fitness area and a quiet garden with a chestnut tree. We were made to feel very welcome, for travellers this was so great. Breakfast was exceptional. Thank you very much.

The Basel SBB Train Station is 850 metres away. Love this hotel. Third stay. Always a warm welcome from ladies on reception and during breakfast. Excellent stylish, comfortable hotel at a fair price. Easy one stop on bus 30 outside hotel to Basel SBB and on to airport. Perfect overnight stop. Old town Basel just down steps behind hotel.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The restaurant Alexander serves Swiss specialties and offers different Pizza varieties and delivery service in the hotel. Located in the center of Basel, with very clean and modern rooms, a nice staf, an underground garage and a rich breakfast is the best location to spend few days in Basel if you want a real value of money. If I will return in Basel I will definitely choose Alexander hotel again.

The Wettstein hotel is located in a central residential quarter of Basel, 200 metres from the Rhine river, and offers you garage parking, free Wi-Fi and a free internet station.

All rooms have a cable TV, a large work desk and a free minibar with soft drinks and beer. It's one of my best experiences! The location is perfect. Car parking is convenient and just in the hotel. The room was cozy and clean, and everything that could be needed was in the room. The coffee was good. I love this stay.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge. The room is not bad. It is shared bathroom but it’s clean and they have multiple bathrooms and toilets. The hostel is near to the tram station. We got the free train ticket around basel. We did enjoy our stay there albeit for 1 night only.

You will be enchanted by the unique atmosphere of this stylish hotel. Just overnight on the way to the airport. Couldn’t have a better location for that, beside the train station and bus to the airport outside the door.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The accommodation enjoys a central and very quiet location close to the university and the cantonal hospital. The hotel has a small garden and free WLAN. 3 blocks from city central 10 minute walk time to the Christmas Markets.

The family-run GAIA Hotel Basel can be found right across from Basel Main Train Station, only a 10-minute walk from the historic city centre. All rooms include a minibar which is refilled every second day and which can be used free of charge. Excelent location, close to everything, spacious room, comfy beds. Very clean, very good breskfast, pleasent and helpful staff. Couldn.^t ask for more . A bonus was that we got a free upgrade of the room. Would stay here again

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. The Basel Exhibition Centre can be reached by tram within 10 minutes. It was right by the train and metro, so perfect to get around where I needed.
