Madison Spa Resort is 10 minutes' walk from the Murray River. Echuca is 5 minutes' drive away. We loved the outdoor pool and the bath house. The room was excellent.

Situated on 68 acres of land, Merool Holiday Park offers self-contained accommodation located a 5-minute drive from Port of Echuca. This 4-star property offers an outdoor pool and free-standing private cabins with kitchen facilities. I loved this place! It's a holiday park and I traveled outside school holiday times, so it was basically empty, but that was nice. The little cabins are wonderful; very spacious, super comfortable beds, nice little kitchens, and even a porch to relax on. The park is also right on the Murray, so you can go safely swim in the river down near the boat ramp or in the pools which looked great as well. There's a massive games room and BBQs outside. The place seems to be themed as a sort of frontier town and the little shops are probably open during school holiday times. Lots of cockatoos and kookaburras, beautiful sunsets, and only about 10 minutes driving from the center of Echuca (just watch out for roos at dawn and dusk!). Great internet too.

This resort also offers 2 dining options and free private parking. Very pretty grounds of a golf and country club with tennis as well. The hotel room was huge w four beds. There was a club for food. That too was huge with full roast meals. The price was very good...and they had tennis rackets for us to use at the courts as well.
