Located 200 metres from Libertador Avenue area and 500 metres from the Laguna Nimes Reserve, MadreTierra Patagonia is set in a charming Patagonian building. It features a garden and is located in El Calafate's historic and commecial centre. Los Glaciares National Park is 40 km away. The staff were so kind and helpful and welcomed us with a bottle of champagne since it was our honeymoon. They helped us coordinate activities in the national park and provided transportation. It was overall a wonderful experience!

Each room at Kosten Aike is bright and spacious. All of them feature stylish decor, a cable TV, minibar, safe and heating. They also include a work desk, a telephone and private bathroom facilities including free toiletries and a hairdryer. Guests can have a shuttle to the airport for an extra fee. Beautiful rooms and property. Room was nice and cozy, warm despite the cold weather. Great breakfast, and the box lunches for the excursions were good. Very friendly staff, always willing to help with whatever we needed and very accommodating. Wonderful hotel, would definitely come again next time I’m in El Calafate.

The heated chalets at Linda Vista fit up to 5 people. They have a living room and a kitchenette with a microwave. Change of linens and cleaning services are included. Beautiful, well-maintained property. We are family of 4 - travelled with children of 11 and 14 years old. The place is perfect for us. Everything was comfortable and we were well rested after all the day- trekking and activities. Owners are friendly and extremely helpful. They do everything to make our stay a memorable one.

Each bright rooms is designed with contemporary décor. The hotel is well located in the main avenue but a few blocks away from downtown activity, so it was quiet. Very close to the lagoon for very nice evening walks. Breakfast was a plus and started 6am, so it let us be ready for all our activities which started early. Staff friendly and willing to help with advice on what to do in the surroundings.

The room was very nice and with a great view of the lake. The staff were incredibly kind. The breakfast was large, varied and tasty.
