Our room was in the attic, and it was huge! It was way better than expected and the view from the window was just amazing. Breakfast was delicious, even though there wasn't much to choose from.

The hotel is in an excellent location on a public square with convenient restaurants nearby and close to the bay. Nice view from room, and good facilities in the room. We had a nice walk around the old town and along the bay side.

What an excellent and upmarket hotel on the riverfront of Caminha but very affordable and good value for money. Hotel has excellent amenities with well appointed and comfortable spacious neat and clean rooms - spectacular common areas, very friendly and helpful staff. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Friendliness of the staff from reception, house-keeping and restaurant staff. We have stayed here a number of times over the years and the outdoor terrace with seating, sun loungers and outdoor pool is the perfect area to relax. We visit Viana Do Castelo for family and Axis is in a great location to visit all the areas we need to which are all within walking distance. A lovely hotel.

Clean Hotel, very friendly staff, perfect service. My Father, 75 years old fell down and hurt himself. The Hotel Manager was very helpful to treat his wounds and we got a later check out for free so he could rest a bit longer before our airport transfer arrived. The Location is also very good and the old building mixed with modern aspects is quite impressive. Beds are very comfortable and the room size is something you don't see very often for that price. I can highly recommend this Hotel.
