Everything! I absolutely *loved* this hotel - I was a bit apprehensive about staying in the middle of party-land, but this is an oasis of calm and comfort! I had a room facing the garden at the back and the auxiliary patio doors kept out the noise at night. Lovely touches in the room - drinking glasses upside down with tissue paper to keep the edges clean, shower curtain finished off with blue ribbon and flower insert, excellent wifi... just a superb room and hotel. You have to carry your cases up the stairs (but staff did insist on offering to bring them up for me) Breakfast is simple (then again I do eat a lot, so it's probably fine for everyone else) Clean bedding, comfy bed, excellent shower and fully stocked with toiletries. Superb staff too! (Thank you all for your kindness)

The location is great! Close to 5th avenue but still quiet. Right on the beach, but you do need to walk down a bit either way to actually use the beach. There are fishing boats lined up in front of El Taj. As well as a lot of the beach front has been lost due to storms.

This place is above my expectations actually. The room was quiet, the courtyard with the pool was amazingly green and luxurious, the bed was comfortable. Also it was 7 minutes walk to the beach and close to main touristic street 5th avenue. Well, this is enough for perfect stay for vacation, but there is more. The staff was friendly and professional. One day I had very special private event and I had issues with my dress. I think at least 4 very supportive and kind persons from the hotel participated to save my day. I want to thank them again. Brilliant place!

Beautiful place, nice rooms with comfortable bed, TV, ac and even mini refrigerator, nice small swimming pool, very clean, in the center of Playa del Carmen - just 2 min walk from 5th Avenue and few min from the beach, but still quite and wonderful stuff who are always nice and helpful. I stayed 3 nights, and I'll be happy to come here again.

The hotel is cozy and the room with terrace I booked was great. I loved the fact that breakfast was included, fresh fruit and juices were served every morning, with a daily special from Gabriel that was cooking…he is lovely 😀. The room was equipped with shampoo/conditioner/body shower. The location is great, as it is close to the beach and to the main central area. They offer free bikes for rent and beach towels, which is genius. I did not find it particularly noisy, besides the Saturday but if you want to be central you need to consider there will be nightlife as well. Everything is walking distance, you don’t necessarily need a car, although I wanted to visit cenotes , etc. I was by myself so I found it safer to ask the hotel helping me booking transfers, which they did. Taxis are extremely expensive, I therefore suggest you rent a car or use other transportation instead. The girls at the desk were always available 24/7 and extremely helpful. The girl from the night shift was very sweet and welcoming 😀 Claudia which was there daytime has been professional and proactive. I will definitely recommend staying there 😍

This amazing hotel is the picture perfect of Mayakoba! It's one of those hotel that you drive up to and say "Wow"! I'm so happy that l got to stay here!" Our villa 931 was with a direct view of the sea. The villa was large, nice and comfortable; we got a fantastic swim pool, private bed beach double shower, a good sized bathroom. The beach is not good, but I knew already. The food and the service room was amazing, the customer service was great and meticulous was very professional and always available to help us! A special mention goes to Miss Gaby and Regina! Butler specials! Thank you very much! This is a paradise place to stay and forget all your troubles.

This hotel was just perfect. We stayed with our two 15-year old kids and had a marvelous time. The condo was perfect, the cleaning service was perfect, the staff at the front desk was tremendously helpful with everything. And, the breakfast at Asi was like a dream, and the location of the breakfast was amazing, just by the sea.
