The location was great if you want to be somewhere outside of the center, but still have great connection via public transport. Staff was great, breakfast absolutely fantastic, and rooms nice and clean.

Built in 1854, this hotel was once the High School of Stirling. Less than 10 minutes’ walk from the city’s historic castle, it has an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant.

We were caught up by a road closure. I called to warn them of our late arrival. Sophie was ever so kind to email me with instructions for checking in by ourselves. The room was comfortable, spacious and neat. Breakfast was also delicious and generous. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Roomy, clean, walking 🚶‍♀️ distance to most things. Washing machine and dryer was awesome. Kitchen amazing. Great for feeding a family. Rooms so very warm for middle of winter. Loved it.
