The hotel was great! Very friendly staff and owners, location very nearby Grossarl and ski lifts. Breakfast and evening meals were good, more than sufficient and for the children separate menu's were available. Our family room was clean, spacious had a perfect layout with a small separate mezzanine where the children slept. Last but not least, there was an issue with our stay dates and they kindly asked us to arrive and leave a day earlier. We accepted this and as a thank you we received a voucher to spend in the hotel bar. We recommend staying there, we will come again if we go back to Grossarl. Well done Hotel Schiederhof!

Everything about this location is exceptional! Starting with the staff who were extremely nice and helpful with a great spirit and joy, amenities and facilities, gourmet food, the Feuerbar which organized on the Easter week-end an amazing BBQ. Great room - large with traditional period furniture and view down the valley. Powerful and hot shower. Food was great. The hotel is located close enough to the lift to walk (ski equipment left in locker by lift). The walk is interesting as there are little cafes and shops on route and the views are amazing. There is also a mini bus which runs to and from the lift, which we tended to catch in the morning but we enjoyed the walk back every afternoon. Google Maps suggests the walk takes 33 minutes but it's more like 20 minutes, although some steep uphill bits on the way there.

Seehof Goldegg has free bikes, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Goldegg. This 4-star hotel offers room service and an ATM. Guests can have a drink at the bar.
