Many tour groups provide diving excursions to the island’s UNESCO World Heritage coral-laden lagoon, where you’ll come face-to-face with the likes of butterfly fish, parrot fish and many more. A number of shipwrecks also line the barrier reef, most famously by the Amedee Lighthouse. Hikers should explore the Parc Rivière Bleu in the Yaté region south of Noumea, which features a variety of bird species, dense rainforest and enormous kaori trees. Inside, you’ll be able to choose from a range of walks lasting from 30 minutes up to six hours. The location was very central and close to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. Because I don't speak French, they did the communication for my taxi and other bookings. Soni at the reception spoke good English and helped me to make the most of my stay.
When I mentioned to him that I wanted to visit the Ouen Taro lookout, Soni suggested going in the evening to visit the Sunset. While I was wanting for the taxi, I asked Soni if the local dish Bougnia was available in restaurants. He said they are available in the Single Fin and advised the taxi driver to drop me off at the restaurant on the return journey. Thanks to him, I had a great evening enjoying both the sunset and the Bougnia. That is excellent customer service.
Mogan was also very helpful. Although she doesn't speak good English, she did her best with the help of Google translator. I am very happy with my time at the Le Paris, and recommend the property for those visiting Noumea.

Ramada Hotel & Resort was very welcoming, polite and helpful when needed. The staff assisted us very good and was really good they spoke English. The Sports Bar and outdoor area is where we spent time enjoying our lovely breakfast,lunch and Dinner by the poolside. The Pool was perfect way to cool down and well looked after. Our Room had everything equipped with what we needed with a functional kitchen n good size fridge. Also bonus having an Air Con and Big Size Bed to relax and sleep after big day exploring.
