Just south of Sicily, Malta is a small archipelago of three islands but packs in prehistoric temples, a thriving capital and turquoise waters flowing onto white-sand beaches. Located on Malta Island, the ancient capital city of Valletta is described by UNESCO as ‘one of the most concentrated historic areas in the world’. Like a fine wine, the city has improved with age; its Roman Catholic cathedral flanked by an array of museums, shopping areas and 16th-century mansions converted into bars and restaurants. Other must-see attractions include the Hypogeum – a prehistoric burial site unearthed in 1902 – and the Megalithic temples which can be observed on both Malta and Gozo island. Malta’s rural beauty makes it perfect for all sorts of activities, such as hiking along the Gozo coast, sailing past secluded caves or diving amongst shipwrecks. If you’d rather ride a wave than dive below one, then numerous surfing spots are available, including Palm Beach, St. Thomas and Ghallis on the north shores of Malta. Comino is Malta’s smallest island but still worth a visit by any means. Its main draw is the Blue Lagoon – a huge pool of crystal-clear water on the uninhabited islet of Cominotto. Julina isn’t just an hotel. Carmen and Chris have a special place that welcome visitors and provides the best posssible experience acording to witch person. All the love that they have for Julina is transmissible for the hosts and we felt good when we were there. We usually said that we were going home when were returning to our room. All the tips and recomendations were so important for our holidays. We also love their dogs!!! Thank you soo much to all Julina’s family: Carmen, Chris, Mimi, Andy, Ben, Wayne and Maria. Is case we return to Malta we will definitily stay again there.

there was a bus stop just outside of the accommodation, which was amazing since we had a lot of things planned outside of Mdina. the room in itself was big, with mini fridge, tv, iron, hairdryer and a terrace which was just lovely.

A beautiful hotel in a fabulous location, the staff are wonderful, so helpful and considerate.Breakfast is delicious with many options and all served with a smile.The building is beautiful, Charlie on reception is a total joy, we enjoyed her help and long chats, we will miss her ! Everything at Alba was amazing. It is a recently renovated old house, designed with amazing taste and care. Every space of the hotel is beautiful, cozy and welcoming. The staff and owners are not only very nice, but always available for any need, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel is located in Sliema, very close to La Valetta and easy to get to. We would definetely love to come back!

Beautifully renovated, modern style and slick finishes. The whole experience was amazing! The food was amazing, the cocktails were great on the rooftop! The staff were some of the friendliest I’ve encountered. The breakfast also excellent. We were VERY happy here!

View from room and location were exceptional. We had several queries before and during our stay and the owners replied to our WhatApps messages really quickly. Lovely free standing bath in our room & plenty of hot water whatever the time. Complimentary drinks trolley in the ground floor lobby. Powerful a/c. Super comfy bed, great linen.
