Breakfast was fine with multiple choices. The location worked for us. Right in the middle of ostrich farms. Staff was very inviting and friendly. They were very responsive to our requests.

This was not our first time in South Africa and we were very happy to stay at a working farm in historical houses. Excellent base for getting to know Little Karoo, Swartberg Pass, Oudtshoorn. Dinner packages highly recommended! Very nice host.

This stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was extremely clean and fully equipped with everything I could need, making it feel like home. We loved everything about the accommodation. Johan and Sonja were superb hosts and their dogs as friendly as they are. Best vacation location choice ever. It was worth every cent and more. Quiet and secluded lodge with a limited number of rooms (ie. other guests) and lots of room to unplug and experience free roaming animals (even on the property!). Safari experience being less "touristy" as area for animals is huge and much less Safari vehicles roaming than in other places, so you were able to see them in their natural habitat rather than feeling like in a big zoo. Excellent food and also able to cater for dietary requirements (it's very rare to get dairy-free pancakes for breakfast :-) )

The hostess / Manager was lovely, very attentive to our every need and nothing was too much trouble. Even made us a special breakfast on request. Highly recommend, rooms serviced daily and we were only there for two nights.
