There was an adquate number of restaurants. The shops were very sparing and contained basic goods. Security was good. Marloth is an amazing place to go visit.
Marloth is an amazing place to go visit. Everything you need is within the park. The local butchery is a must stop for steaks, dry wors and biltong. The water park and eatery were a great treat for the kids and our group. The people were extremely friendly and the local wildlife that came to visit our house and the kids could feed them with the food on sale at the gate or any of the other shops in the park. We hope that the area will get rain soon as all is very dry after nearly two years of drought. The upside is you get to spot the animals easier.Guest review byEugeneSouth Africa - 10.0

It was a treat to have game visit your doorstep any time of day. Enjoyed the view of different types of wildlife all around the park. There's a variety of food areas just slow service in some of the establishments but good food especially at the Bos restaurant. The house was private, spacious and spotless, had everything one would need for 2 people (Loved the coffee machine and blender) lots of added touches in this home to make it very comfortable. Easy access to the Kruger, and Marloth Park itself offers incredible wildlife sightings and easy convenience for the surrounding areas to travel to, you can also ride your bicycle here freely. The location was perfect for safari starting at crocodile gate. It felt safe and secure. The animal watching from the cottage was great fun especially the bush baby houses.
