It is situated by a vinyard on an island in the orange river. The park is lovely, there is a swimmingpool and the room we got was very comfortable. The food was fine as well. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Beautiful location, spotless comfortable room and free wine tasting, we really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it. Great having the restaurant nearby to eat at also and friendly helpful staff. Also loved playing with the dogs.

It was like an oasis after miles of dry hot and sand. The extras like WiFi TV and a verandah to enjoy watching the birds and mammals etc and your first cup of tea. The aircon wonderful. Beautiful place

    Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. It was great that the restaurant/gift shop and wine tasting venue were on the premises, so we didn't have to drive to Upington or surrounds. The wine tasting experience on site was also outstanding!

    The facility is on the Orange River & it is very pleasant to sit on the deck next to the river, however there are not enough umbrellas & tables to protect you from the midday heat. The dinner we had was very good & the lady who attended to us was very efficient & friendly.

    it was a nice place for our two night stay over (you can stay longer) the facilities were exceptionally clean (we stayed in tented accommodation with shared ablution and braai) always had hot water for shower nice restaurant (we had drinks only) but friends had food that looked very nice and their comments were that it was great very relaxing environment (good for the soul) pools available (we did not use as it was cold) the only down was the complete darkness during loadshedding they told us to bring lights but solar lights on poles outside would help to light the darkness on the way to the ablution and to assist at the braai area

    Staying at the Bezalel wine & brandy estate was central to exploring the region: Kanoneiland, Keimos and Kakamas and the Augrabies waterfalls in the Park. And a wine and brandy tasting to finish the day!
