We loved the large shared living space where we could spend time during the day together as a whole family, while the bedrooms were individually placed for some more privacy and quite for those afternoon naps. The viewing deck and waterhole was perfect with some game viewing action throughout the day. The house was very well equipped and we saw the big five during our stay. The place was even beter than the photos

What a great stay! We were really satisfied by our stay. Absolutely highlights were the amazing location and the super friendly staff. The Lodge is located next to the river, which gives the opportunity to see a lot of animals. We saw for example some; crocodiles, hippos, babboons and elephants next to the river. Regarding the staff: super friendly, good organized and you feel directly welcome! Not unimportant, the lodge is clean and all needed facilities are there! We would definitely recommend to go here and will go back when we are in the surrounding.

We loved the intimacy of the Sausage Tree Safari Camp , the friendliness of the entire staff, the great quality of the food and the perfect location in the middle of the Balule Nature Reserve. A special thank you to Themba and Jimmy for the great morning and evening game drives. It was amazing how close we could get to the wildlife.

Amazing staff and location. they truly went above and beyond for their guests, and you felt like you were a family member staying at their house. We will absolutely be back at some point in the future. Also, great game viewing from the lodge and on the drives, which made the stay even better!

We had an amazing time at Milima. Everything was perfectly organized and taken care of down to the smallest detail. The location is stunning, even more beautiful than the photos. It's truly special to watch the wildlife at the waterhole right from your breakfast table or poolside lounger. But what made our stay truly unforgettable were the game drives with Thomas! Thomas is an incredible guide who knows everything about the animals and nature, and he goes above and beyond to make the experience as special as possible for his guests. Haardus was an excellent host! He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the bush. He was also extremely informative. The property was superb and surpassed our expectations! I would love to return in the future! The kitchen was fully stocked and the property was very clean. No bugs or insects in early July either.

The property was very good, had great facilities such as a nice pool area and the honesty bar. The staff were amazing and really made us feel like family. We even went out for a meal with them on our final evening. Bianca the chef was amazing, all her meals were so good and diverse. Selby our game driver was the best we could’ve asked for, he was amazing at spotting all the animals and taught us so much, was a genuinely nice guy aswell. We already want to come back and will miss all of the staff. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to do a safari. We had a perfect experience. The hospitality was amazing aswell, they really do all the little details that made our trip so good.

    we stayed at the lodge the whole time we were at kruger, and it was super safe and beautiful, the days were planned amazingly well. next time i will bring a better camera, binoculars and a nicer hat! The stargazing was immense, we saw the whole milky way!

    Amazing game drives given by Paul from Maninghi Lodge.

    Amazing game drives given by Paul from Maninghi Lodge. He is the most knowledgable guide we have ever had. His passion and love for the bush is infectious! We thoroughly enjoyed our drives with him, and he was a large part of what made our stay so great!
