The place is spotless and within walking distance from the main road. Complimentary snacks were given which was a sweet gesture. I loved this space and will return. We had the most delish food at the on premises restaurant prepared by Chef Harm. Alfonso the bartender was a delight. This experience made me fall in love with Montagu.

Extremely clean and comfortable. Very nicely equipped and guests are spoilt with rusks and muesli with their tea and coffee. TV and WiFi available and a bookshelf with some super books in. A gas heater and fan are also available and kitchen is nicely equipped. Cottage is nice and close to town - within walking distance. The cottage has a lovely private garden with table and chairs outside. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and highly recommend it.

    A quiet town between Robertson and Montagu, surrounded by...

    A quiet town between Robertson and Montagu, surrounded by vinyards and orchards. Shopping and dining within 10 to 20 minutes of scenic driving. Montagu had a lovely, intimate market, selling home made jams, preserves, cakes, clothing and some brick a brac. Robertson had live music and delicious meals at Bourbon Street restaurant, on the main road. Beautiful historic buildings and wine farms close by. Don't forget to by wine!

    Lots to do, lots of places around Ashton to visit.

    Lots to do, lots of places around Ashton to visit. We enjoyed the Market which had a wine boutique, restaurant. Nursery and shop all in one building. Montagu was quite near and all the Estates in Robertson. Four Cousins restaurant is a definite to vidit
