    If you want a truly immersive Vietnamese experience without big city noise you should visit Hoi An. It’s a cozy little town, the ancient town at night with the river lined up with lantern boats, silk and leather shops, wonderful tailors shops, small temples, people enjoying Bai Choi game and singing, the basket boats, the lovely rice fields…..it was truly local and beautiful.

    Simple quaint town with easy food and transport. Food was awesome and plenty to choose from. About 2 night's stay is sufficient leaving days to spend elsewhere in the area. Souvenir and craft shops looked really good, be prepared to bargain a little but most owners are not overly aggressive. Nice views by the river for sunsets. Sunrise is early at 5.30am and jogging around to explore is possible and fairly safe too.

    The Ancient Town is still great for a day or (maximum) two, but the whole place has become over commercialized. If I were to return, I'd probably stay near An Bang (quieterz has better and cheaper food, proximity to an o-kay beach) as it is easy to get a Grab and commute back and forth.

    The staff were very helpfull and polite. We didnt want for anything. They advised us on the best places to go. They provided a lovely breakfast for us every morning. Beautiful rooms, the view was awsome over looking the river. Recommend staying here

    The old town is big enough to spend a couple of days walking...

    The old town is big enough to spend a couple of days walking around and exploring, or just chilling in cafes. There are also plenty of massage places nearby and the beach isn't far either, so it's a good place for a short relaxing getaway. The best food we had was outside of the old town in restaurants full of locals. not tourists, and not selling the famous tourist dishes.

    Very pretty and clean accomodation and relaxing atmosphere in a quiet area away from the busy old town and near the beach. The staff is super friendly and helpful with e.g. booking trips without being pushy. The breakfast was very good. Laundry is free and you can rent a scooter (10 min drive to Hoi An old town). Tip: we can highly recommend Môc restaurant & cafe, it's 15 min. walk or 3 min. with scooter from KA Villa and definitely worth it. It was the best food we had in Vietnam and owned by a very sweet family!

    The wonderful owners look after you as if you were a member of their family, without being intrusive as can sometimes happen in larger, less homely hotels. Our room was simple, yet large and very comfortable. The location is literally a two minute walk from the Old Town, yet you don't feel or hear the tourist madness two blocks away. Instead, from the lovely balcony we could observe the everyday lives of ordinary Vietnamese people. And on top of all this, at an incredibly affordable price!

    Hotel was perfect for our stay. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options both hot and cold, I enjoyed the omelets and bacon every day. The pool was amazing, and my family enjoyed that. For us location was perfect an easy GRAB to the old town or to the beach. We had the twin room with pool view, again would recommend those rooms. And finally the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Defiantly recommended and we will be back for sure

Free bicycle rent and with that perfect location between beach and rice fields (to the one direction) and old town(to the other site), but even without that well walkable.
