    Wimberley was a great place to visit, it would be nice if the shops stayed open a little later so you could walk around in the evening. Wimberley is a very busy little town so if you are planning to visit be ready for alot of people during the day. at night time its not to busy at all

    Wimberley is a very nice and quaint town with a great atmosphere. About 1 hour and 20 min from San Antonio. There are many shops and parks. There is a winery, bakery, rum distillery (which I did not visit), bakery, and ranches to visit in the town and surrounding area. Everything is easily accessible. Wimberley is a fun and relaxing town worth visiting.

    I called the number that was provided a day before to ask if...

    I called the number that was provided a day before to ask if we can check in sooner since are going to be there for work and need to start at a wedding by 4:30 pm. The girl said I don't see anyone booked so since there won't be guests you should be able to just text us at 12 noon. I called and texted over 7 times and they said the cleaning and check in crew are there. We sat in front of the property at 3:20 check in was at 4 I called two times and they said they are still there making sure everything is clean and nothing is broken and everything is perfect for you to check in. Once you see them leaving the property you can check in. We waited till 4 no-one left the house (there were 2 cars parkerd in front of the house before us) then we finally go in and the house was so HOT and HUMID I got an instant headache. The AC WAS NOT EVEN ON!! The House was on 80!! There were dusts everywhere. Cross on the floor of the bedroom. When I Called they said oh it was clean in the beginning of the week and the check in crew didn't make it on time to to turn on the AC. Are you kidding me? The 7 times I texted and called every single person said they are working on cleaning the house and making sure nothing is broken for your check in!! They were just lying the whole time and I don't care if they didn't want us to check in sooner than the assigned check in time (4 pm) but they should have had the property clean and cool at 4 pm not feeling like a sauna and smelling like mold. The dishes were obviously just washed by the previous guests and not checked or re washed by the cleaners because they were disgusting. The bathtub was first and blond woman hair pieces in it. Unfortunately I Can't even say book another property as this company "Hill Country Premier Lodging" owns over 300 properties in the Hill county.

    We stayed in Wimberley because we had a wedding to attend...

    We stayed in Wimberley because we had a wedding to attend nearby. We were there for Easter weekend and many places were closed. We were not able to secure an Uber nor Door Dash but it may have been due to the holiday.

    Wimberley is a popular location in Texas, so traffic can back up at times. We personally have several special friends who live in Wimberley and each loves it there. The town square is quaint and the coffee shop is a favorite for my family. Water levels of the rivers can vary much based on weather, so if water activities are a must, it would be good to check first how high or low (or existent) the water level is. Lion's Club Market Days is very popular too!!!

    The short time I spent in Wimberley was enjoyable.

    The short time I spent in Wimberley was enjoyable. I was amazed at the amount of stars I could see. The peace and quiet was a plus. But most of all the time at the Blanco was pretty awesome. It had been a while since my last visit. I'd definitely go back.
