Weatherford is a small town (31K) in a rural county just...
Weatherford is a small town (31K) in a rural county just west of Fort Worth TX. It has the right balance of small town charm with some big city amenities such as most major big box stores, hospitals, schools etc. You don't come to Weatherford for the sake of coming to Weatherford because it doesn't have anything special in of itself except for maybe the annual Peach Festival held in old Downtown in early July. If you have to be here for work or something else and/or going through to somewhere else, it is a pleasant town and would be a great alternative to living in DFW if you work in DFW and don't mind at least a 30-45 minute drive.Guest review byEric
