A wonderful blend of hotel comfort and Airbnb-style charm. The building itself is in an incredibly quiet area, right by a river and a small park, where you can take peaceful walks and enjoy the tranquility and unique architecture of the city. This small, yet stunning town has a beautifully atmospheric vibe. The staff is exceptionally attentive—Dana was especially kind and welcoming; although we arrived late, we were warmly greeted and given many helpful tips. The cozy room is well-equipped with a kettle, coffee machine, and a complete set of dishes (including coffee and tea cups, plates, spoons, forks, and knives). It also has a full-size refrigerator, a stove for cooking, and even a dishwasher, which made it incredibly convenient. I also want to highlight that the hotel interior feels brand new and has an elevator. Everything works flawlessly; it's high-quality, clean, and peaceful. The bed is comfortable, and the bedding is excellent. I now wholeheartedly recommend this place to all my friends. Thank you for a delightful stay during our travels!

We had a very nice stay as a family for 2 nights. The room was spacious, clean, renovated, and comfortable, with everything you might need. The staff was really friendly, and the location is perfect if you want to visit Boston’s downtown (about 20 minutes by car). There are markets and restaurants nearby, though the cost of living is higher compared to Canada. A good breakfast was included, which saves you at least $15 per person. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come again. Thank you to the staff!

We loved everything about this hotel. The location was awesome, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and we loved the breakfast buffet with the Starbucks coffee. I know the breakfast buffet is temporary but I really think it should always be included. We will definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was great--we ate in the restaurant and the waitress, Lisa, deserves a prize! The voucher system is pretty clumsy, though, and we had to ask for vouchers after we had sat down. You should be able to order from the room without the QR nonsense.

One of the Worst Hotel Experiences – Do Not Stay Here

One of the Worst Hotel Experiences – Do Not Stay Here We booked Extended Stay America in Waltham, MA to attend our daughter’s graduation, expecting at least basic service and a functioning room. Unfortunately, our experience was a nightmare from the moment we checked in. The customer service was essentially non-existent. The woman at the front desk was completely unhelpful and dismissive. When we reported that the sink faucet wasn’t working properly—it was barely misting and the sink wasn’t draining—she told us there was nothing she could do and that we’d have to "deal with it." We asked if we could be moved to another room, but she flatly refused. The room was not livable, and given the total lack of support or concern from staff, we checked out immediately and found another place to stay. It was incredibly disappointing, especially during such an important occasion for our family.

I could’ve stayed at a less expensive hotel but I chose you...

I could’ve stayed at a less expensive hotel but I chose you guys because I thought my experience with my wife would be better than it was. 1. Your coffee is is disgusting and there’s no point in spending the money to put out coffee if you’re not going to go all the way with ensuring that it has decent flavor and is reasonably fresh. 2. While you did have some choices for breakfast, I find it ridiculous that you didn’t have scrambled eggs or muffins, which are two staples of the American breakfast. 3. I’m diabetic so I don’t use sugar in my diet The most popular artificial sweetener in America is Splenda and It was a struggle to obtain it every time I wanted a coffee. 4. The mattress was either old or poor quality and nowhere near as comfortable as one of your primary competitors. 5. Your extra fee for parking to pad your bottom line is ridiculous. I had other options in a similar price range and similar hotel rating with free parking provided. 6. Icemaker on our floor was broken during our stay even though we told the front desk about it multiple times. 7. You had all night to vacuum the common areas and chose to do it while we were having breakfast in the morning sitting down in the breakfast area. You may not be aware of this but there are dust particles kicked up into the air when you’re vacuuming. Nobody wants to breathe that crap in while they are eating!

I liked Moody Street, which was a short walk from our hotel -- there are so many restaurants to choose from. We had breakfast twice at Heidi's Diner, which was a very friendly place with great service. We also had dinner one night at Sakura Japanese Restaurant and the food was very good and the service was also very friendly. We went into Boston twice via the Commuter Rail station and this was very convenient -- just be sure to check the schedule before heading out. There is parking available at the station for $6/day. Once the train comes, it only takes 22 minutes to get to North Station in Boston. The one thing I wanted to do but didn't get to -- walking along the Charles River Trail -- the weather just did not cooperate on the day we could have done it.

Unfortunately there was nothing to like.. I checked in around 9:00pm, and my room was filthy. Blanket was stained, curtains were stained, one of the windows was entirely broken. There was trash and bugs. I took photos of everything. I’ve stayed in a lot of similar hotels at this price point, but never seen a room so unsanitary.

My hotel room was roomie, clean, modern and just what I needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And it was half the price of some other hotels I’ve seen. For a practical comfortable place to stay it’s fantastic and I would definitely stay again.
