The mansion is breathtaking! We felt like scarlet and Ashley in our room. From the decor to the staff everything was amazing. The pool was warm and it was nice to have a swim in this great location. We where able to have dinner on the upper balcony with a view of the river. There is also a roof top area with seating.

Good equipment in the kitchen, possible to wash clothes, the house is full of beautiful decorated elements. In a quiet good area. Hannah was quick and friendly in answering. We love the blues berry cafe in town, good music 🎵 breakfast on Sunday! Lovely people!

We loved the kindness of the staff. Both the frontdesk as the lady who assisted us during breakfast were amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. It is also quite close to everything: the park, the historic center, shops et cetera.

    The Historical places and museums were outstanding!

    The Historical places and museums were outstanding! 10 out of 10. The food scene isn't much if you're a foodie BUT Key City Brewery made it okay. It was so outstanding that we ate there every night of our trip. The river view is nice. We stayed by the river and I would definitely recommend. Our view was stunning. Definitely worth going to at least once in your life especially if you are a history fan.

    Vicksburg has a lot of history that can be enjoyed by those...

    Vicksburg has a lot of history that can be enjoyed by those who are traveling through. Other than the Casino there are several things to do to pass the time. I like hanging out down by the river...you can imagine what it might have been like so many years ago....it humbling and interesting...one of my favorite stops on my way to Texas from Alabama.

    The Civil War events at Vicksburg are well captured in the...

    The Civil War events at Vicksburg are well captured in the town and in the neighbouring National Park. There is just so much information for history buffs to get into. The one disappointment was the Coca Cola Museum which was a total waste of time. One attraction to be avoided.

    It was so very special to go back into history and remember...

    It was so very special to go back into history and remember those who fought and lived through such a truly tragic time for our country! To think about even family members fighting against one another. And to try to imagine how they got all the cannons and ammunition into place at that time. Truly unbelievable! Certainly men of valor!! God bless America!!!

    So much preserved American history in this small town !

    So much preserved American history in this small town ! The Native Americans, the European American families, the African Americans, the Civil War soldiers and leaders, our early government leaders and the Mississippi river are all very significant parts of the evolution of our culture and country. All of these elements playing large roles in such a small area ! It should not be missed as a reminder of how our country developed.

    we came for two reasons: 1. Civil war 2. Casino the Military park was amazing (and is a must for any Civil War buff) but something we hadn't expected was the Civil War Museum downtown - which we really enjoyed as well The casino was good fun and my wife won!

    The Inn at Cedar Grove is a magnificent mansion that lets you experience antebellum splendor. The rooms are beautifully furnished with period pieces, but still have contemporary necessities. Sitting on the balcony in the evening and enjoying the atmosphere - truly beautiful. The pool is also lovely and lets you unwind after a day of exploring. Moreover, you are within walking distance of downtown Vicksburg and several restaurants.
