The accommodation is lovely. An authentic log cabin look from the outside yet inside modern, spotless and extremely well equipped. The kitchen is excellent and there are nice touches like free Netflix and board games. There is a terrace too and ample car parking space. We were met by Greg an extremely helpful host who showed us around. This is an ideal place to stay when visiting Talkeetna.

    If you arrive into Anchorage later in the day, this is a...

    If you arrive into Anchorage later in the day, this is a convenient place to stop for the night between Anchorage and Denali, but isn't much of a destination of its own. Trapper Creek itself is mostly a junction of two roads without much else. You also don't get mountain views because of all the trees. I had to drive 20 miles up the road to have a view of Denali.

    Everything about this property was amazing!

    Everything about this property was amazing! Loved the view off the back deck. The hosts made us feel right at home and more than provided all we needed for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend that those traveling to or from Denali or stopping off in talkeetna book this place. We were able to see Mt Denali off the back deck. So wonderful!
