We arrived late in the evening. Everything was fine when whe arrived. There was a reception with a person who asked us to make the check in with a woman on a big smart-tablet next to the table. I was a skeptical at the beggining but it was fine. The girl was very nice and helpful :) I also ordered my new phone to this hotel and they delivered the phone into the front desk. When I picked up my package i just had to show my ID (passport) and then I got it. Thank you so much for your service, because now I have my new phone because of you :) The bed and room was comfy, the room has also a fridge and a microwave which is a big plus when you are traveling with a lot of thing and snacks. The room had a balcony with a view on the hills and highway. During the night I haven't heard any car passing by, because the windows were very tight fixed so we haven't heard any noise from the road. The view to the indoor complex of a hotel had also very nice feeling with the palms and a sitting place in the middle with a pleasant green grass. The breakfast was very nice, a lot of things to choose and the breakfast room also had a music corner with musical instruments and stereo speakers, which means that maybe a live music can happen there in the evenings ? It looked very nice. Parking was also fine (free), we parked behind the hotel under the rooms and it was fine. We didn't have the chance to try the swimming pool because we had to go early and there was a very nice conference room in a beautiful traditional style. After a long flight from europe to LA, this hotel was a perfect place for our relaxing rest after a long trip. The front desk clerk Christina is amazing. All the staff was accommodating. The breakfast was top notch and definitely delicious. The beds were super comfy and the pillows were a mix of firm and soft but felt supprted regardless. The hotel is nice on the inside and out. Very lovely look to it all. And the views out the windows aren't that ball despite being close to the 101 freeway.

    We liked the in-room refrigerator.

    We liked the in-room refrigerator. Ability to borrow playing cards. Cleanliness of the room. Staff was very friendly. We did not appreciate the extreme costs of the store snacks. Way too expensive. I purchased Starbucks coffee drink…$10. I also purchased a bag of pistachios. Again extremely expensive. Did not taste fresh. No flavor. Requested two rooms next other… they were not even on the same floor. We reserved in advance.

    Thousand Oaks is a nice location from which to do an...

    Thousand Oaks is a nice location from which to do an assortment of activities. We hiked Paradise Falls and also took a horse riding excursion with Malibu Riders while we were there visiting our daughter who attends college nearby. There were also plenty of good restaurants to choose from.

    Worst (precooked breakfast I’ve ever had. No cut fruit. No yogurt only precooked eggs, potatoes and greasy breakfast sausages dry cereal. Poor mattress, poor water pressure. Thin tiny towels. Uneven maid service. Lied about restaurant being open in June omitting not until rnd of June. No ability to order drinks. Complementary drinks were denied us because we booked through this site

    The room was dirty, ants and mini-roaches under the bed, long black hairs in the shower. And the mattress was more than lumpy. I felt like I was going to get tipped off the bed by the mountain range in the middle. But it was cheap, so you can't expect perfection. I don't know why there is a picture of the ocean, it is no where near the water.

    The mall has no comparison it’s perfect, the beach is 25 mins away, the outlets are just down the grade, you have to stop by Institution brewery, weather you drink or not order their carne asada pizza, I know sound a bit of a weird match, but everyone I’ve ever gave a slice to ended up ordering and eating a whole pizza plus they have a beer for every taste, I recommend the mosaic to start your exploring.

    Bed, check in, parking were good.

    Bed, check in, parking were good. The room seemed smaller than previous stays, especially the bathroom, the tv was not working upon arrival but my husband fixed it plus the remote worked but it had limited capabilities. The grab & go breakfast was not very selective compared to another BW+ we stayed at a few weeks ago. The shower over tub didn’t function well, in that the tub filled with water even though the shower was turned on.

    This motel was memorable, the only one of about 20 hotel stays that we have reviewed. We were upgraded to a bigger room when the door key didn't work. We loved the pool and jacuzzi, and found the room and bed quality excellent. This hotel is well worth the stay.
