Great scenic drives and awesome visitor center at Washington county administrative building - open for just two years. Be sure to drive through Snow Canyon State Park. Beautiful just from the road, but some short walks off the road are amazing. Used Texas Roadhouse - across the parking lot from Comfort Inn North - for dinner To Go. What a wonderful place to stay.
What a wonderful place to stay. Everything you could possibly need, they provided. Ended up in a pet friendly room and they had a dog bed, bowls and a toy for your fur friend. Beds were very comfortable with a selection of pillows. The breakfast provided was the best I've ever seen, I mean an omelet station? Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Such a beautiful area. The natural environment with the red rocks, the Gorge, great golf courses and so many choices to eat. Love the Rock Grill at The Ledges, enjoyed the yummy swirled bread at The Pizza Factory and Cafe Rio has a yummy salad dressing. Plenty of shopping options too! The hiking is amazing, and I highly recommend the Red Hills Desert Garden as a way to start the day. The historic main street is pretty cool. However, the majority of St. George felt like strip malls and residential buildings so not the most aesthetically pleasing place.Guest review bySophie - 10.0

Tons to do! Loved surrounding areas like Hurricane too. Don't miss the Hoku Lani Hawaiian shave ice in Hurricane. So yummy!! Also the Gypsy Emporium is a MUST SEE!! We went to see the yearly Dickens Festival at the convention center. Super fun!! Don't miss this event! Talk to Charles Dickens and Mr. Scrooge! Volkers Bakery is our favorite vendor!
