Location was great, finding it was easy, so many things within close proximity. Biggest plus was the young lady that checked us in between 3 and 4 pm on Tuesday. I wish I had her name but hope you can identify by day n time. She was truly pleasant and as I started to elevator and she saw my husbands mobility is extremely challenged she offered to look for room in 1st floor, found one, switched out our key cards then walked with my husband down hall and brought our suitcase since I had several other bags. She is a star employee and hotel is blessed to have her! Breakfast was great. Staff member there very friendly as well.

Every member of staff we met were so nice. They took time to speak to us and help in every way possible. The ‘kickback’ in the evening is fantastic and the food was great! We cannot fault anything!!

We loved the welcoming, laid-back feel of this historical place. Our group of four had a room with four beds and our own bathroom across the hallway. Everything was clean and well-managed. There were snacks available at all times and all you would need for a healthy breakfast. We enjoyed the camaraderie of others staying at the place, mostly cyclists, and the hosts are delightful as well as providing information on the area. They were happy to store our luggage as we headed away to Cumberland to cycle back to the hotel. We stayed there again after our bike trip along the GAP.

Wonderful, well presented, fresh fruit, great bread, hot breakfast fantastic and served so quickly, staff member on duty in restaurant area could not have been more helpful and more pleasant. Good overall selection of food and various drinks hot and cold. Restaurant small but well located near reception.

Excellent location. I asked for a quiet room and I I'd say I got one (that means no view at the city but to a parking lot) sometimes that was annoying because you can't control the noisy car parked over there. I think we only heard a couple of them. Not extra noise from outside. From inside: it will depend on the rest of the hotel 's guests. We had a couple of quiet nights. However our last night there was some stupid people that felt like singing at 1 am. That's not hotel's fault or responsibility.

    Nice little house with only 1 bathroom on the second floor.

    Nice little house with only 1 bathroom on the second floor. Two flights of steep concrete stairs in front make access challenging and steep stairs behind the house are dangerous for senior citizens, families with small children, and clearly the disabled.

    The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.

    The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Common areas like the hallways and the elevator were a little dirty and sloppy. The operation seemed disorganized at check-in and in laundry. Breakfast operation ran smoothly and the breakfast was adequate. Not a ton of options but the service was clean and the food warm and well-stocked. The surrounding location seemed like it would be bustling with activity but, on a Friday night was desolate with few late dining options.
